DESCRIPTION:December 2nd:  “A Night on the Town” begins a three-day event in December, when downtown retailers stay open late and local choirs, dance groups, and clubs provide entertainment to downtown visitors. Santa Clause lights the city’s official Christmas tree and the Parris Island Marine Corps band performs holiday hits. Late-night shopping takes place from 6-9 p.m., with the Christmas tree lighting up at 8pm!  Bring your chairs and blankets for a double feature movie in the park.\nStage Musical – “Gullah Kinfolk Christmas Wish, Freedom Coming”, presented by Aunt Pearlie Sue and the Gullah Kinfolk.” (Tickets and Information)\nDecember 3rd: Enjoy the “Gullah Taste of Christmas” at 11am and the Lighted Boat Parade starting at 5:30pm.\nDecember 4th: Come and see the Christmas parade led by Santa at 3pm.\n
