Hannah's Park

A Touching History

Hannah’s Park, located near the entrance of Fripp, is dedicated to a young girl who lived on the island. After a swim in the Edisto River, she fell ill and lost her battle with a water parasite. Hannah loved Fripp and its parks, so this park was named for her.

The park features playground equipment, a lovely lagoon, and picnic tables, making for a great lunch spot with your family! The walking path goes through the park and over the bridge above the lagoon, a wonderful part of your daily walk or bike ride!
