Just 23 miles east of historic Beaufort, Fripp Island is a barrier island situated between Hilton Head and Edisto Islands. At the very end of Highway 21, you'll find an abundant wildlife sanctuary with beautiful beaches and a Lowountry vibe.

Via I-95 From the North

  1. Take I-95 south to exit 38 to merge onto SC-68 E/Yemassee Hwy.
  2. Take Old Sheldon Church Rd.
  3. Turn left onto US-17 N/US-21 S.
  4. Use right lane to merge onto US-21 S/Trask Pkwy via the ramp to Beaufort.
  5. Continue onto US-21 Business/Boundary St.
  6. Continue onto US-21 S/Sea Island Pkwy.
  7. Continue onto State Rd S-7-406/Tarpon Blvd.
  8. Cross over Fripp Inlet Bridge, onto Fripp Island.

Via I-95 From the South

  1. Take I-95 north to US-278 E in Hardeeville.
  2. Take exit 8 from I-95 N.
  3. Continue on US-278 E.
  4. Turn left on Argent Blvd.
  5. Turn left onto SC-170 E.
  6. Turn right onto SC-128.
  7. Use middle lane to turn slightly right onto Parris Island Gateway.
  8. Continue straight onto US-21.
  9. Turn right onto US-21/Ladys Island Dr.
  10. Turn right onto US-21/Sea Island Pkwy.
  11. Continue onto State Rd S-7-406/Tarpon Blvd.
  12. Cross over Fripp Inlet Bridge, onto Fripp Island.
