My soul needed this birthday vacation! We had such a great time. I even had a nice long walk on the beach by myself to talk to God and reflect.
Sometimes we just need quiet moments to ourselves, out of our element, to think, and simply be still in the moment.
I did have to get this picture of the granny square crop top that I worked on before our trip! I was proud of the first top that I’ve ever crocheted, and I will say, it turned out cute as a cover up!
Latest painting — a lake on Fripp Island. Love the Spanish moss dripping from the live oaks. To make it more authentic, I should have put an alligator in there. “Lowcountry Lake” 11 x 14” oil on linen panel.
