Spend a few hours at Alvin Settles Pool for Slip & Splash! The kids will love the floating obstacle course, the slides and the mushroom waterfall. Open seasonally Tuesdays-Sundays, 10am-7pm. To double-check seasonal hours, call 843-255-6794 Alvin Settles Pool & Beaufort Pool.

Slip & Splash is also open at the Bluffton Pool: Fridays 4-7pm, Saturdays 10:30am-4:30pm.

Take a Hike!

Relax and enjoy the scenery at Henry Robinson Boardwalk. This picturesque boardwalk provides a great setting for fishing, with benches, a pavilion, and a peaceful ambiance. You can also ascend the lookout tower for a breathtaking panoramic view, capturing scenes of Battery Creek, the Beaufort River, Parris Island, and the MCRD military base. It's a delightful location for capturing fantastic photographs! Be sure to visit this charming spot in Port Royal, SC!

Looking for more? Consider the 10-mile Spanish Moss Trail where you can walk, bike or run along the historic Magnolia Line Railroad on a 12-foot wide paved pathway. Enjoy nature and soak up some incredible scenery as you go!

Off Island Adventures

Beaufort and Hunting Island are real treasure troves for an adventurous soul! Consider visiting Hunting Island State Park, right "next door" to Fripp Island. You can fish on the pier, visit the Wildlife center, take a horseback ride along the beach (offered seasonally) or visit Boneyard Beach... a local, early-morning favorite for photography buffs.

For any music lovers in the family, stop by Kazoobie Kazoos to learn all there is to know about the kazoo. You can create your own custom kazoo for a fun and quirky souvenier!

Park it!

Don't forget to check out the parks on Fripp Island. Both Hannah's Park and 
Davis Love Park have playgrounds for the littlest members of your family so they can climb, swing, and play. And, for your older kiddos (or kids at heart), pick up a ball and play a game of basketball or volleyball. If you're looking for a budget-friendly game, look no further. Beaufort County Parks and Rec offers tennis and pickleball courts at 6 different properties. Play is first-come first-serve and is free. Can't beat that!

Dining options abound for everything from a quick bite to a special occasion dinner. Stop by Springtide Market for a deli sandwich or head over to Lady's Island for a shrimp burger. If you're celebrating, head into Beaufort for a waterfront meal.
