Marsh Bunnies Easter Nature Camp
This fun and muddy adventure invites young explorers to transform into Marsh Bunnies as they head out into Fripp’s beautiful salt marsh with the resort’s Head Naturalist. Along the way, participants will discover the fascinating world of fiddler crabs, pluff mud, oysters, wading birds, and other marsh wildlife. It’s a hands-on experience designed for curious kids who love nature and aren’t afraid to get a little muddy.
Sandals with straps or shoes that can get wet and muddy are recommended for this program. Rain boots are ideal, and flip flops are not allowed.
For questions, contact the Nature Center at (843) 838-1516.
The program includes a three-hour drop-off camp, time to collect dock organisms and observe them under a microscope, and a guided walk through the marsh to catch fiddler crabs, snails, and other small marsh creatures.
