Come for the nature, the quiet and the stunning beaches; it's the perfect way to unwind, relax and soak in the sun.  There are so many great things to do and see while on your island vacation.  Here are some of our favorites.

Head to the Beach.

Fripp Island has 3 1/2 miles of beaches characterized by white sand, tide pools and beautiful sand dunes.  As the tides rise and fall, the beach constantly evolves creating fun shelling, relaxing walks and afternoons playing in the waves.

Go for a bike ride.

See the island on bike to discover the amazing wildlife and enjoy the warm coastal weather.  Ride over to Wardles Landing and look for dolphins.  Stop by the Marina store for a quick snack and a cold drink.  Discover hidden paths and build new memories.  

Tour the island by Golf Cart.

Visit Island Parks.

The whole family will enjoy the island's parks. 

Davis Love Park has something for everyone.  You'll find climbing structures, a pirate ship for adventure, a fun new tower,  sand volleyball, playground equipment, picnic spots & a basketball court.  Find Davis Love Park just around the corner from the Ocean Creek golf club on Ocean Creek Boulevard.

Hannah's Park has a playground and casual spots to sit and enjoy the nature of the island.  It is located just inside the Fiddlers Ridge area.  Bring your camera for wildlife spottings! 

Go Shopping on the island

There are a few great Springtide Market Fripp IslandFripp Shopping shops on Fripp , including Mangos, featuring coastal home décor and gifts, the Fripp Ship, with logo apparel and Springtide Market with everything from boogie boards to sunscreen and lunch.  You'll also find some fun logo clothing at the Marina Store which has a deli and boating supplies.

Enjoy a Beautiful Sunset. 

Sunsets on Fripp are truly amazing.  Two great spots, although there are many, include the south end of Tarpon Drive overlooking Skull Inlet and Wardles Landing pier.  Bring your camera!

Go Fishing! 

Grab your gear and head over to the Bonito Drive bridge.  Wet your line and bring home dinner; and, depending on the time of year, land sea trout, cobia, sheepshead, flounder and more.  You can get fishing tackle and bait at the Marina store or at Tightlinez on Harbor Island.

Go horseback riding.

Stroll through Beaufort.

Explore the history of the Lowcountry.

Beaufort and the surrounding Sea Islands have a cultured past dating back to the 16th century when Spaniards arrived at Port Royal. Take the kids for a day of local fun

Go Bird Watching

Fripp Island is a designated wildlife sanctuary and is named an kelly-whitebird-ktFripp BirdingImportant Bird Area by the National Audubon Society.  Grab your camera and head out to your deck, over to the beach or toodle around the island to see how many amazing seabirds and shore birds you can find.
